Heatherwick Studio’s Philipp Nedomlel is one of five esteemed names to be hosting a keynote speech at the III International Symposium on Greener Cities in September.
He will present at the event alongside Gardens by the Bay’s Felix Loh, Professor Diane Pataki of the University of Arizona, Professor Stephan Pauleit of the Technical University Munich and Dr Fraser Torpy of the University of Technology Sydney.
The three-day event at the RHS Hilltop at Wisley in Surrey will bring together more than 40 speakers from 15 countries.
The III International Symposium on Greener Cities: Improving Ecosystem Services in a Climate-Changing World (GreenCities2024) will focus on advancing the science of greening our cities and will take place from 25 to 27 September.
Some of the key themes being covered are carbon sequestration and storage, biodiversity support, floor risk mitigation and air quality improvement.
One-day and three-day tickets are available as well as a symposium dinner. A half-day, post-symposium tour of London green infrastructure projects is being held on 28 September.
