The showcase garden at this year’s BBC Gardeners’ World Autumn Fair will celebrate the way the raised beds have ‘revolutionised’ gardening.
The Raised Bed Revealed, designed by gardening writer and presenter David Hurrion, will show the adaptability of the growing method, from using them to grow vegetables to tailoring them to suit ornamentals.

There will be raised beds at different heights, for wheelchair users and for those at standing height.
It follows the launch of Hurrion’s The Raised Bed Book, published earlier this year, which offers design and planting scheme ideas.
“The Raised Bed Revealed will bring to life some of the ways in which gardeners can elevate their growing which my new book lifts the lid on,” says Hurrion.
BBC Gardeners’ World Autumn Fair takes place at Audley End House and Gardens in Essex from 30 August to 1 September.
