Tivoli Group Ltd has been awarded Yorkshire Housing’s Grounds Maintenance and Associated Services contract for its whole estate, circa 300 sites, covering external grounds across Yorkshire.
The contract, which will run for an initial 24 month period from 1 April 2024, with two 12-month extensions, includes grass mowing, planted bed maintenance, hedge pruning, weed management and additional ad-hoc works.
Yorkshire Housing owns and manages around 20,000 homes across the region, including older person’s accommodation and homes for low-cost rent.
Tivoli accredits its ability to deliver ‘significant’ social value and local supply chain ‘expertise’ to its successful bid.
Regional director at the company, Alex McLauchlan, says: “We are dedicated to providing a cost-effective service, whilst also committing to significant investment to meet the future requirements of residents and visitors and protect and regenerate the environment.
“This investment will deliver some exciting projects.”
