Giacomo Guzzon, head of planting design at Gillespies, is launching a new book with photographer Claire Takacs.
Visionary: Gardens and Landscapes for Our Future showcases private and public gardens across the globe that are both sustainable and address the changing climate.
Landscape architect Guzzon has taught planting design at several institutions and is now undertaking a PhD in Plant Science at the Technical University of Berlin. Freelance photographer Takacs has been capturing landscapes around the world for two decades, contributing to numerous books.
The book launch will be taking place on Tuesday 23 April at the Garden Museum in London, where Guzzon and Takacs will present a slideshow of a selection of gardens from the book. Award-winning garden designer Tom Stuart-Smith will host a discussion on the ‘innovative’ design solutions the duo came across and that will feature in Visionary: Gardens and Landscapes for Our Future.
