Mitie is being recognised as a UK Top Employer for the sixth runninning, a certification awarded by the Top Employers Institute.
The facilities management company has earned this certification for its continued commitment to creating a better workplace environment for its colleagues through HR policies and people practices.
Employers must demonstrate how they are supporting colleagues across 20 areas of HR, including learning, equity and inclusion and wellbeing to be considered for the award.
Mitie has recently introduced new HR policies to support better work-life balance for its colleagues. This includes policy changes to enable more flexible working arrangements and sabbaticals.
The company also offers an Employee Assistance Programme that offers readily available practical and mental wellbeing support.
This accreditation comes off the back of Mitie’s recent Silver Award from the Inclusive Employers Standard and its HR Excellence Award win for Best Early Careers Strategy.
