Landscape Suppliers Herts, formally known as St Albans Stone, has been acquired by wholesale building supplier, George Davies Turf (GDT).

Based in London Colney and founded in 2002, Landscape Suppliers Herts is known for its importation and selling of natural stone products, as well as providing a range of landscaping materials including Flagstones, Aggregates and other Landscaping Products.

This acquisition will see an expansion in George Davies Turf’s existing portfolio of products.

Founder George Davies comments on the acquisition, saying he has known Mike Johnson- founder of Landscape Supplies Herts- for “many years”, and the two share a mutual “respect for each other having built [their] businesses from scratch.”

Johnson adds that he “knows [Davies] shares the same ethos” as he does, concluding that he is reassured that “the company is in good hands.”

GDT is encouraging existing Landscape Supplies Hert’s customers to contact them should they have any questions or concerns over the recent changes.
