idverde has appointed a new chief executive officer (Group CEO) effective today.

Luzius Wirth joined the Group in November last year as deputy group CEO with a primary focus on leading and developing high-performing operations across idverde’s country footprint.

Commenting on his position, Wirth says: “I see tremendous opportunity for this business.”

His appointment will see the company “aim to be a pioneering force for nature-based solutions which meet the ever-changing challenges of the environment.

“We are relentlessly focused on using our market position and scale to provide our clients with world-class services and innovative solutions.”

Wirth has experience as a mechanical engineer with an MBA by training, spending his formative years at McKinsey and PWC in Europe.
