A show garden representing The Laskett Garden in Herefordshire has been announced as the winner of the People’s Choice Award at this year’s RHS Malvern Spring Festival.
James Madge, manager of The Laskett Garden, called winning the People’s Choice for Best Show Garden “a fantastic end to an exceptional show”.
Designed by David Wyndham Lewis and built by Outdoor Living Gardens, Perennial’s The Lasket – An Autobiographical Garden had already scooped a Silver Gilt medal at the show.
It will be relocated to The Laskett, which was gifted to horticultural charity Perennial in 2021. “Winning this award will help Perennial spread the message that we are here to help those working in horticulture and their families,” says Madge.
This year’s Malvern Spring Festival marked its 37th year, with eight show gardens vying for People’s Choice.
