Fresh off the back of becoming one of Pro Landscaper’s 30 Under 30s, Kelsey Brace owner of Primethorpe Paving has major plans to expand the company and meet rising demands.
The UK paving supplier has over doubled its workforce and is now “looking to grow even further,” says Brace.
“We are investing in the expansion of our office space, so that we can recruit four new office-based staff members in the new year.”
With plans to recruit a dedicated sales team member for one of the company’s specialist products, as well as a full-time marketing assistant.
Primethorpe Paving’s retail space is following suit and receiving an expansion of its own- with conversion plans to create a “more open plan space” and create an opportunity to recruit two more customer service team members.
Brace also confirms the company has responded to growing demands with a £100k investment in ‘state-of-the-art machinery’, in a move that will improve the company’s production capabilities.
In parallel to the large-scale expansion being undertaken by his company, Brace became one of Pro Landscaper’s 30 Under 30, in association with Green-tech winners back in October, an achievement he says gave him the “extra motivation” to continue on his upward trajectory and “reach even higher in the coming years.”
Looking to the future, Brace discusses his goals of opening a second depot in the near future, with a long term goal of opening even more depots until there is one “within 45 minutes of every landscaper in the UK.”
With big plans in motion and even bigger goals on the horizon, Brace is certainly one to watch in the coming years.
